pace of watching paint dry.
This was my first experience with one of Patterson’s Book
Shots. I probably should have started with Cross Kill. Even though it was super
short, it took me a week to get through. I was bored. I was bored throughout
the whole book.
It isn’t because I don’t like the story. I really liked the
first Zoo book. I gave it 5/5 stars.
This one took that original story and made it so
unbelievable that I was lost within the first few pages. Maybe if it had been a
regular length novel, there could have been more description, and the book would
have been better.
But, it wasn’t, and I was not a fan. I was glad when I
finished it.
